I'm an educator who enjoys gardening, camping, programming, languages, travel, and film. I've had some good experiences working on organic farms, botanical gardens, permaculture, and environmental cooperatives, although my educational background is in literature.
Recently, I have been having a lot of fun with my garden, and have tried to improve my results, and have tinkered around with some tools to do so, whether putting together a sensor array for real-time conditions in my garden, or creating an app to easily plan a garden with companion planting and crop rotation rules.
As I added to the app, I started to realize that it might be useful to beginners and experienced gardeners alike, and began to develop it to address those audiences. Although I am still polishing it and adding new features, I decided to give it a release before seed-starting begins, in the hope that it may be useful to some of you.
Although the first iterations were a bit sterile and simple, I have partnered with a local artist to gradually add a personal touch to the visual feel, one week at a time. Please let me know your thoughts!
